In the UX design field, new tools and updates always help us create unique products. In this post, I’ve gathered five new excellent tools and updates to improve significantly the UX designer’s work. Ready to learn about the latest trends in the UX/UI world?

Spline Design

Spline Design now has a powerful new tool, AI 3D Generation. Using text prompts, you can create 3D objects and turn your images, characters or avatars into 3D images in the Spline Editor or dashboard.

Very conveniently, you can create your library of 3D objects. This is a plus when working on multiple projects. Another advantage is that you can create numerous variations from a single object.

I noticed that this tool works better with simple cues and simple objects. The more complex you describe something, the more unexpected the result will be.

Meta is opening up the operating system that Meta Quest devices run on to other companies. This is excellent news if you want to design for AR/VR.

Meta has launched Meta Horizon OS for anyone who wants to try new technologies. It combines the core technologies that power today’s mixed reality environment with a set of features that put social presence at the centre of the platform.

What’s new:

  • CSS grid. You can use columns and rows for a more flexible distribution of elements.
  • A new component system for easy reuse of elements in projects and for scaling them.
  • The new user interface has smoother, more intuitive, and more flexible navigation.
