I want to share a selection of handy AI tools that simplify and speed up your work, especially if you’re a UX designer. Most of them are entirely free or have affordable starter plans.

1. Magic Animator by LottieLab — animations without After Effects

This tool turns any design from Figma into a live animation. Just upload a layout, and you will get a ready animated scene. Works with icons, SVGs, clocks, maps, etc.

  • Unique feature — you can set a prompt, and the neural network will suggest aan nimation.
  • The result can be edited by command and exported to Lottie format.
  • It’s working on a waiting list and recommend subscribing in advance.

2. Tana — AI assistant for productivity

Tana is like Notion, only more brilliant. You can dictate tasks with your voice, and the system will turn them into a calendar, a to-do list or even a plan for a client meeting.

  • Automatic structuring by role, project and format.
  • There is a free version.
  • It is helpful if you are running many tasks in parallel.

3. Firebase Studio from Google — design turns into a real application

A new AI platform from Google that turns sketches and mockups into working Android/ios/web apps.

  • Generate backend, connect APIs, and fix bugs — without a line of code.
  • You can upload an image, text description or wireframe — the system will understand everything.

4. Modifi — AI graphics and animations right in the browser

I recently bought the Figma service for teamwork and graphic design. Creates posters, banners and animations based on text description.

  • Collaboration support, like Figma.
  • You don’t have to be a designer — you just describe what you want.
  • There is already a plugin for Figma, and it is being developed actively.

5. Goose — AI to automate routines

If you want to automate lead handling and email responses or work with Jira, Slack and Google Meet, Goose is there to help.

  • Supports hundreds of integrations.
  • Visual script editing + AI tips on what else you can automate.

6. Cursor — AI-assisted development tool

A potent tool with a code editor and built-in AI assist. For example, you can use it to create a Figma plugin.

  • Inside the editor is a chatbot that ‘writes’ and improves the code in real-time.
  • You can build Android, iOS, macOS, web and even After Effects apps.

These tools can be incorporated into your workflows today to be more productive and less procrastinating.
